Armed with a Degree in Interpreting and an Honours Degree in Foreign Languages and Literature from Milan University, Elena is passionate about languages and language learning and possesses experience as both a teacher and translator. Italian Connections runs classes from Beginner, Post-Beginners, Intermediate, Upper Intermediate and Advanced; we also have Conversation for Beginner students which allows you to practice the Italian vocabulary you do have without the pressure of learning grammar. For Post-Beginner and Intermediate students, we run an Italian during the Holidays program where you can converse in Italian to keep practising during the school holidays. The Italian Connections team understands that sometimes it is hard to keep up with learning Italian in class at secondary school and there is only one teacher for what is often a large class therefore we offer courses to assist in your learning of Italian. Our Italian tutors in Sydney encourage and support the individual progress of every student utilising positive reinforcement and provision of time and space to learn at their own pace. Furthermore, the tutors will monitor each individual students’ progress of written and verbal Italian and provide additional support to those who need it.
